Kingdom Partnership Discernment Matrix

Is God creating a new Kingdom instrument through us?

Two questions sit under every Kingdom partnership: are we aligned in what God is calling us to, and are we each becoming more like Christ? Answer both, and see where you land on the discernment matrix.

This is not a compatibility score. It plots two trajectories to start a better conversation — answer honestly and prayerfully, ideally together and out loud. It holds open that "not yet" can be the faithful answer. Nothing you enter leaves your device.

Mission & Calling Alignment

Formation & Character Trajectory

Warning Signs

Check any that are honestly true. These matter regardless of where the marker lands.

Your reflection

Where you land today

A mirror, not a verdict — and a snapshot of today, not a ceiling. Take every line of it into Scripture, prayer, honest community, and wise counsel before deciding anything.

Your dimension profile

The shape matters more than the size. A spike beside a dip is exactly where the conversation — and the growth — belongs.

Reflection prompts — take these into the conversation

    • What does God seem to be building through us?
    • What becomes possible together that isn't possible apart?
    • How would the Church be poorer without this partnership?
    • How will this partnership bless others?
    • What are we uniquely called to steward together?
    • Where do we need growth before God can use us more?
    • What might threaten the health of our partnership?
    • How will we keep Jesus at the center as we pursue mission?

    Healthy indicators to keep growing

    • Christ-centered lives
    • Shared Kingdom passion
    • Humility and teachability
    • Deep trust and honesty
    • Fruit of the Spirit evident
    • Unified mission focus
    • Complementary strengths
    • Perseverance through trials
    • Generosity and sacrifice
    • Joy in doing life together

    The ultimate question

"Is God creating something through our covenant partnership that will display Christ more clearly, bless the Church more deeply, and advance His mission more faithfully than we could alone?"

    Remember

This framework does not create certainty. It creates better conversations, clearer discernment, and deeper dependence on the Holy Spirit — so that together you bring more glory to God than you could apart. If the honest answer is "not yet," that is not a failure. It may be the most faithful thing you discern here.
